“From my point of view, which is that of a storyteller, I see your life as something artful, waiting, just waiting and ready for you to make it art.”
- Toni Morrison
Views from the U is a synthesis of voices across university campuses.
As a result of my upbringing, I have embraced my passions for social justice, representation, and all art forms- namely filmmaking, writing, and music. As an undergraduate at the University of San Diego, my studies center around Marketing and Business Analytics, a realm where I can integrate my love of art and technology. Most importantly, I love people, and believe that everyone has a story that is waiting to be told. To me, empathy is the glue that holds our world together.
With this blog, I hope to hone in on the impactful voices of our generation, open people’s eyes to new perspectives, encouraging them to ground themselves in compassion and move them towards action- whether that’s in the world or in their own lives. I hope these stories inspire something in you like they have in me.
With gratitude,
MaDonna Camille Connors
